The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most remarkable architectural structures in medieval Europe. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is also called as Tower of Pisa or bell tower. It is located at Piazza del Duomo, Italy. The height of the Pisa is 57 meters. Its construction was started in year 1173 and finished in 1399. It has 251 steps and approximate weight is 14500 tonnes. With 207 columns ranged around eight stories, Tower of Pisa looks like a massive wedding cake knocked precariously askew by a clumsy giant guest. Climbing to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa is a unique experience and it offers a very beautiful view of the town.

Transportation To Leaning Tower Of Pisa:
The bus gets you directly to Piazza dei Milacoli (The Square of Miracles) where the tower of Pisa is located. It runs four times an hour, and a ticket costs 2 €
By train:
The train runs twice an hour, and a ticket costs 1,10 €

You also can take a cab, for around 10 -15 €. For safety reasons, children under 8 years old CANNOT climb up the Leaning Tower of Pisa. All children between 8 and 18 can climb the Tower with an accompanying adult. Children pay full price to climb the tower; there are no special reductions in the fares for them.
