The capital of Rajasthan is Jaipur. Rajasthan is a northern state in India. Jaipur is also popularly known as the Pink City. Rajasthan is about 260km from Indian capital New Delhi. 1. Hawa Mahal:
Hawa Mahal is located near the city palace. Hawa Mahal is also called as Palace of Breeze and Palace of Winds. This Mahal was built in 1799. It has five floors with pyramidal shape with 50feet base. Jaipur railway station is about 13km from Hawa Mahal.
2. Amber Fort:
Amber fort is also called as Amer fort. Its area is 4 square kilometres. It is 11km from Jaipur. Amber fort is located beside Maota Lake.
3. Jaigarh Fort:
Jaigarh Fort looks like Amber Fort and Moata Lake. The fort has highly fortified thick walls of red sandstones. Jaigarh Fort stands tall atop the ‘Cheel Ka Teela’ hill in the Aravali range.
4. Nahargarh Fort:
Nahargarh fort is at the edge of Aravalli Hills. One can view the Pink city from top of the fort. The major attraction inside the fort is ‘Madhavendra Bhavan’ that speaks volumes of the Rajput taste for exquisite artwork and craftsmanship.
5. Sisoidia Rani Garden:
Sisoidia Rani Garden Located on the Jaipur-Agra Highway, around 10 km from Jaipur.It is the symbol of the eternal love between Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and his second queen, Rani Sisodia Jai Singh.
6. City Palace:
The City palace includes Chandra and Mubarak mahals. This palace was built by Sawai Jai Sing 2. The City palace is located in Central northeast part of Pink city.
7. Sambhar Salt Lake:
Sāmbhar Lake is the India’s largest inland salt lake in India. This lake is at a distance of 96km from the Pink city. The main wildlife found at the Sāmbhar Wildlife Sanctuary includes flamingos, storks, sandpipers and redshanks.

8. Abhaneri Step Well:
Abhaneri is 95 km away from Jaipur. It is a beautiful place to visit. Abahneri was originally named as Abha Nagri, which means City of Brightness.
9. Jantar Mantar:
Jantar Mantar is the largest monument in India. Jantar mantar is about 200 years old. Maharaja built five astronomical instruments to study space. Jantar Mantar consists of fourteen geometric devices that measure time, predict eclipses and track the location of stars and the Earth’s movement around the sun.

Jal Mahal is a palace and located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in pink city. It is a very beautiful place to visit. You can use boats to reach the Mahal.
11. Rambagh Palace:
Once upon a time Rambagh palace is the residence of the Maharajas. Rambagh Palace is now a Hotel which is about 8km from the centre of the city.
12. Birla Mandir:
Birla mandir is also known as Laxmi Narayan temple. It is located at the base of the MotiDungari Hill in Jaipur. Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu are the main deities in this temple.
13. Central Park:
Central Park is one of the largest and most colorful gardens. The park is the best place to enjoy all the colors of nature accentuated by various species of birds. This park is a paradise for birdwatchers.

Johri bazar and Bapu bazar are the most famous shopping malls within the city. In Johri bazar we can buy gems and stones, timeless jewelries and exquisite sarees. Bapu bazar is the largest camel leather market in the world. It is known for its finest quality Morji shoes and other leather goods like belts, wallets, lamp sheds, bags and more.
