For QuickBooks 2019 or earlier versions:

1. Open QuickBooks and from the login window, click I forgot my password.
2. When the info form appears, enter QuickBooks license number, name, phone number, ZIP code.
3. Click OK and you will get a code on your primary email if the information given is correct.
4. QuickBooks will direct you to create a new admin password.
