Teenage is one of the most vital stages of life. It is the period when every boy or girl bubbles with full of zeal and vigour. It marks the transitory phase from childhood to adulthood and synchronises with adolescence. During adolescence, human mind is filled a lot of dreams and optimism. Each boy or girl begins to float in the self-imagined world as an intrepid aficionado, hero or heroine, all set to achieve something adventurous. The entire world looks like a beautiful Eldorado, a place of fabulous wealth and opportunity. A person is seen at his highest peak of agility and enthusiasm in teenage.
Literally speaking, teenage refers to the period from thirteen to nineteen years of age of a kid. Children normally grow physically at a faster rate in height than during the later stages of life. The biological changes that happen in the body tend to show up as rudiments of adulthood to follow in the upcoming decade. In case of most of the kids, there is a sort of healthy natural glow in their faces, irrespective of whether they are fair-skinned or otherwise. The gracefulness is more observed in the kids who enjoy considerably lengthy bouts of uninterrupted sleep, after rigorous physical activities and healthy food. This is the period during which the major metabolic activities happen at reasonably higher levels, unlike in the later stages of life. They do not get tired too early for small physical strain as against the case of elders beyond 50 years of age.
Giving due importance to the agility or hyperactive dynamism in the teenage, certain sports at international level are conducted. The world cup for the kids under 19 in the game of cricket has come to be an event watched across the globe since 1988.
Teenage also forms the basis for career growth. Kids are likely to find themselves under a lot of pressure academically since in most of the countries the marks obtained in the basic qualifying examinations form the criteria for pursuing higher education. It is the period when their brains are subject to face the test of receptivity and oral/written presentation of what was studied in schools or colleges. Apart from having to live up to the expectation of their parents, the urge to excel in the class room too adds to their tension. Teenage forms the crucial period of having to choose their cherished line of academic activity, in furtherance of their career.
Golden rules for teenagers to lead themselves into brighter future
Try to study well in school. Strive hard to excel well in your favourite subjects. Improve upon in other relevant subjects too as far as possible, for supplementing to build your carrier.
Set your goals in accordance with your personal flair and try to reach maximum levels of efficiency since it is the only field in which you can hardly feel cumbersome in spite of toiling in it for exceptional lengths of time, in future part of life.
On reaching adulthood, while performing duties of the job that earns livelihood, a man will have to do the same type of work daily with regular uniformity and monotony till he reaches the age of retirement. If the nature of duty is in agreement with the personal taste, it would be the greatest boon for an individual because the major part of every day is spent in his favourite pastime for larger part of his life, extending to three to four decades. Human mind implicitly refuses to work that is not appealing to its specific inclination or penchant. After growing up, every person feels irrationally tired and worn out too quickly, if he is required to work in an area which is never his personal predilection or preference. This is going to have a more telling effect psychologically and on his health considerably.
Teenage is characterized by quick reflex actions to petty disturbances. Children tend to lose temper and find pleasure in retaliating to minor heckling. Hot blood does not allow to think calmly with cool mind and they are prone to be entangled in legal problems which might prove jeopardous to their future career.
Bear in mind that the advices given by your parents and teachers are intended for your own progress and prosperity. Try to follow them scrupulously without giving in for negative thoughts.
Create a small group of your friends with a strong seriousness to achieve higher common positive ambitions. If that does not work out as planned, be quick to come out of the group to pursue your goal on your own independently. Time is very precious in teenage and gets over quite fast. Don’t squander it. Mind that you are the main person who can shape your own future career.
Follow your heart and decide for yourself frankly what suits you best in your career. Go ahead and sky is the limit!!! Strive well to reach the deepest bottom of your favourite penchant. Excelling well in your line of preference is much easier than in other activities guided by peer group.
Don’t expect everything to happen in consonance with what you have anticipated. If you are unable to make it in spite of your serious and sincere efforts, do not sink into the sea of depression. Never be a victim of depression and do not resort to self-appeasing harmful habits of alcoholic drinks, narcotic drugs, smoking etc., since they are carriers of pre-mature death with alarming speed. Remember to follow the adage “failure is the stepping stone of success”. Bear in mind that most of the internationally famous legendary luminaries have certainly had their own can of worms in childhood or in the earlier stages of life before attaining celebrity status. Nobody on earth is born with impeccable perfection.
Failure is not about you having not been able to achieve success. Real failure is when you permanently give up your subsequent attempts.
Every failure that you might come across is a lesson and an invaluable experience that teaches you what is not to be done. A child cannot learn to walk and run without falling on the ground in faltered steps. Kids learn cycling only after initial tripping and toppling. Same holds good in your attempts for achieving ambitions of your career.
Enjoy life to the fullest as you do not have to levitate the entire burden of family responsibilities, since you are too young to pick up the gauntlet. However, make sure that you do not pamper yourself too much so as to ruin your career.
Put a leash on the extent of your entertainment like watching endlessly international matches, movies, playing video games.
Believe in yourself and go ahead in pursuance of your career with full confidence.
Choose your favourite line of legally unobjectionable career, no matter how trivial or ridiculous it may look; whittle down yourself by self-discipline; reach your well-cherished goal by unrelenting hard work. You will find yourself an inimitable aficionado at the end of hard-earned success. After growing up, you would be laughing at your hesitancy while choosing a line of your career, just because it seemed queer and unconventional.
We reiterate….. Go ahead and sky is the limit !!!
