Rename the filename of the Financial Institution directory:
- Press Windows +E key to open the Windows File Explorer.
- In the Windows File Explorer, navigate to the following path: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 20XX\Components\OLB\branding\filist
- In the filist folder, look for the file named fidir.txt and right-click it.
- Choose the Rename option from the drop-down list of options.
- Change the file name “fidir.txt” to “fidir.old”
Get the latest version of the fidir.txt file on the system:
- At first, get the latest version of the fidir.txt file on the system.
- Right-click the downloaded fidir.txt file and then select the Copy option.
- Open the Windows File Explorer and navigate to the following path: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 20XX\Components\OLB\branding\filist
- Right-click on any empty screen space and choose the Paste option to locate the new fidir.txt file in the filist folder.
