  • You must spare at least 30 minutes every day for physical workout /exercise.  Dermatologists say that exercise helps increase the blood circulation which in turn boosts skin health.

Follow a good skin care routine. Do not skip exfoliation, as without it, you cannot get rid of dead cells and dry skin that accumulate making your complexion appear dull.  Homemade scrubs are just effective. Use oatmeal as an exfoliator.

  • It is important to let your skin breathe. With the makeup alone, your skin cannot repair itself. Usage of oil to remove makeup is perhaps better than using harsh chemicals.

  • Use honey for wounds and damages. Honey has anti-viral properties; this works as natural therapy.

  • Use tropical medicated creams after consulting your medical practitioner.

  • Use cucumber for your face. Use it for facial massage or for facial mask weekly twice.

  • Vitamin A is a vital nutrient promoting hair growth. Hence green leafy vegetables, carrots and cod liver oil should be essential ingredients in your diet regime.

  • Consume raw vegetables, brown rice, bananas, and dry fruits and if you are a non-vegetarian, you may go in for fish oil, skinless chicken.

  • Use purified water for your bath. Don’t use fluoride water.

  • Use medicated shampoo. Don’t use concentrated shampoo.

  • You can apply the inner pulp of broken fresh eggs to your head. Hold for 20 min and go for bath.

  • Apply Avocado to your face as well as hair.

  • Brown sugar prevents dandruff. Apply it in a ratio of 2:1 with hair conditioner, hold for 30 min and go for bath.

  • Aloe Vera prevents hair fall. Mix in a ratio of 1:1 lemon juice and coconut oil. Apply to your hair and wait for 30 min and go for bath. To treat dry or damaged hair, to add shine, try to use aloe Vera or curd by conditioning your hair.

  • Stay away from hair styling treatments and products as harsh chemicals will only spoil your hair growth in the long run.

  • Mix 2 table spoons of curd with 1 table spoon of lemon juice and apply it on your hair and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

  • Keep your scalp clean and free from oil.

  • Do not comb wet hair because you can break it and try to avoid using hair dryer. It is best to let your hair dry naturally.

  • Beauty Tips - Get a good, regular and peaceful sleep.

  • Always treat your hair gently. Avoid being harsh when combing, drying or styling your hair.

  • Use cold or lukewarm water for hair wash, because too hot water can damage the tips of your hair.

  • And finally, apply slightly warmed up coconut or castor oil at the roots of your hair and spread it to the lengths, keep it on for at least 40 minutes and then, wash your hair, it will add shine and smoothness.
