What Is Pomelo?
Pomelo fruit is one of the several biggest fruits in citrous family. Pomelo is also called a pummelo or shaddock. It belongs to Rutaceae family. Color of pomelo pulp is white, mild yellow or pink. Pomelo pulp has a fairly sweet taste. Pomelo is pear shaped and ripens to orange, yellow and red. It is native to china and Malaysia.

Pomelo contains 216 mg (5% of RDA-Recommended Dietary Allowance) of potassium, 17 mg (2% of RDA) of phosphorus, 0.017mg (1% of RDA) of manganese, 0.11mg (1% of RDA) of iron and 6mg (2% of RDA) of magnesium.
Vitamins:
Pomelo contains 61 mg (73% of RDA) of vitamin C, 0.036 mg (3% of RDA) of vitamin B6, 0.034 mg (3% of RDA) of thiamine and 0.027 mg (2% of RDA) of Riboflavin.
Proteins:
0.76g of protein present in the pomelo.
Fat:
0.04 g of fat present in the pomelo. Pomelo contains 9.62g of carbohydrates present in the pomelo.
