The official currency of Guernsey is pound. Guernsey together with islets forms a jurisdiction coming under the British Crown dependency in the Channel Islands in the English channel. The Guernsey pound is the legal tender within the Bailiwick of Guernsey and can be used in Jersey. It cannot be used in the United Kingdom. Guernsey pound is however pegged with the British pound sterling at par.
