Flerovium Element:

Flerovium is a synthetic chemical element and it is a p-block transactinide element. Atomic number of Nihonium is 114 and it is represented by the symbol Fl. It is a member of the 7th period and is placed in 14th group on the periodic table. Flerovium is named after the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Atoms of plutonium (Element 94) are bombarded with ions of calcium (Element 20) contained in a beam for making flerovium. Flerovium contains five isotopes. The most stable isotope is 289flerovium, which has a half-life of about 0.97 seconds.

Flerovium Element Uses:

Since only a few atoms of flerovium have ever been produced, at present, it is only used in scientific study.
