Dongguk University is a private and co-education university in South Korea. Dongguk University was established in 1906. This is one of Buddhism Universities in the whole world. Dongguk has four main campuses. Those are at, Seoul, Ilsan Goyang, Gyeongju and Los Angeles. Dongguk University received many rankings and awards from the recognized authorities and organizations.

Dongguk University has two symbols.
1. Animal (Elephant): It is considered as a holy animal with wisdom and fortune in the Eastern world.
2. Flower (Lotus): The University flower symbol is a lotus blossom, the emblem of Buddhist truth.
Rankings and reputation:
Dongguk has international recognition by Acquiring Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) certificate.
In 2014, Dongguk University was positioned with 11th rank in JoongAng Ilbo's Korean university rankings.
According to the QS World University Rankings, Dongguk University was 77th rank among the Asian universities in 2015.

Dungguk University has four campuses,
1. Seoul campus: This is the main campus and located in Jung-gu, Seoul.
2. Ilsan, Goyang campus: Located near the Dongguk University Ilsan hospital, this campus mainly focuses on Medical technology, medicine and traditional Korean medicine.
3. Gyeongju Campus: This campus is located in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea.
4. Los Angeles Campus: This campus is located in United States. This site concentrates in the area of traditional Korean medicine.
Dongguk University Hospitals:
Dongguk University runs two affiliated hospitals of Western medicine, and four of Oriental medicine, a generic term which includes traditional Korean medicine studies.

Tuition Fee:
Full-time undergraduate students at Dongguk University Los Angeles paid $7,250 in tuition and fees for the 2015 -16 school year.
