Delhi University is located in New Delhi, India. It is very famous and is one of main universites in India. Delhi University was established in 1922 by British India before forming Republic of India. The University was originally to be named Prince Charles University but due to other reasons the University was named as Delhi University. The University offers awards in advanced studies in 5 academic departments Chemistry, Geology, Zoology, Sociology and History.

 Faculty And Students:

The University of Delhi is one of the largest universities in India. At present, there are 16 faculties, 86 academic departments, 77 colleges and 5 other recognized institutes spread all over the city, with 132435 regular students (UG: 114494,PG:17941) and 261169 students (UG:258831,PG:2338) in non-formal education programme.

Delhi University Admission:

Delhi University offers courses in UG, PG, Ph.D., and M.Phil.

Delhi University

Financial Aid:

  1. The Board provides Financial Aid of Indian Rupees. 3000/- to the needy and deserving students. Text Books on each subject will also be made available to these students for the full session from the Book Bank.

  2. The eligible students should apply for the financial aid immediately after admission. The Application form duly filled in should be submitted to the Teacher-In-Charge of the Centre within the prescribed date mentioned in Application Form 2016-17.

  3. All students belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category should attach the copy of the BPL Ration Card with their application form. Late and incomplete application will not be considered and entertained. 

Campus Environment:

Whether it is a north campus, south campus or off Campus College, these campuses are huge in size and area.  With lush green gardens, beautiful historical buildings and a definite sports complex, you’ll find yourself running to go from one class to another. But it also allows people to have their privacy.
