Bibi Heybat mosque is located in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is historical mosque and the present structure was built in 1990s. The mosque was built Shiite Imam Musa Al Kazim. Based on the writings on the south wall of a mosque assumed that, mosque was built in 13th century. Very famous French writer Alexandre Dumas wrote in his book “The World” mentioned the mosque a place of worship for infertile women, they come here on foot, worship and a year gain the ability to give birth. Locally Bibi Heybat Mosque also called as the mosque of Fatima. The mosque domes are decorated with green and turquoise mirrors.
